REVIEW : EMERGENCY was a most awaited film and it completely lives up to the expectations. The life of Indira Gandhi has been portrayed very sensitively on screen. The film is a result of thorough research and hard work, showcasing even those aspects that have never been documented before . although some scenes fell a bit stretched ,overall it falls into the category of a good film.

THE GOOD : one of the best aspects of the film is that its engaging and doesn’t bore you at any point.

THE BAD : at some points, the film feels a bit dragged , and if the songs weren’t sung by the actors themselves ,the film would have had more weight.

ACTING : Kangna shines brilliant in her role , once again proving that she is the queen of acting. The rest of the characters have also delivered outstanding performances. Especially Anupam kher, Satish Kaushik, Shreyas Talpade, and particularly Milind Soman.

DIRECTION : the film’s direction is good and several places , it feels like an international film.

SCRIPT : The script could have been better , but the dialogues are well written.

FINAL VERDICT : The final verdict is that the film is well made, and it’s perfect for those who are tired of masala films and want to watch some thing different and serious.if you are a cinema lover or enjoy watching political films, then do go and watch it at least once.

Those who couldn’t see indira gandhi in person, should go and watch Kangna Ranaut ‘ EMERGENCY ‘
